Dr. Troggio is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) at the Los Angeles Therapy Institute. With certifications in both adult psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry, Dr. Troggio brings a comprehensive and integrated approach to mental health care. He received his specialized training in TMS through the NeuroStar TMS system, a clinically proven treatment option for individuals with treatment-resistant Major Depressive Disorder.
Dr. Troggio completed his bachelor’s and medical degrees at Indiana University before moving to Los Angeles, where he underwent psychiatry residency training at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. He then completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. In addition to his role as a TMS therapist, he manages medications for a range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, psychosis, ADHD, PTSD, substance use, and personality disorders. He is also skilled in therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
